The Ruins And The Pain
A
breathtaking silence resonating in the air with an unknown heaviness weighing my
heart down.
They
say fathers are the strongest in front of their children but look at them crying
their hearts out helplessly. Can't you see their pain. Can't you hear their
silence deafening and piercing through this world.Yet you sit and talk about
diplomacy.Who has given you the right to attack their innocence. Is it not
hurting to sleep on that bed after snatching their sleep away and making them
hide in the bunkers.Which religion preached you to do this to
them?
Even
if the almighty ordered you to do this aren't you supposed to disobey. can't you
defy him for these innocents.I have a kid at home who is two years old and it
stings for the entire family just to see him cry with just a vaccine shot and
then they are them who are begging for mercy, water, shelter with blood
flowing, with pain pinching and none hugging.
Their
souls might have left and their tears might have dried but so long the life
exists their stories will haunt.
I
hear them shout
I
see them cry
They
crave for life
They
crave for time
In
the light they hid
In
the dark they bid
Death
never haunted them
Quite
as much life did .
that
today they shout
If
you're going to kill us
make
it quick,
For
we are sick of this waiting.
Dhariyaa
I
hope you forget everything and leave this pain so we can meet in a better place
and start everything again. Where butterflies fly free and flowers bloom high. a
place far away. a place full of life.Farewell to this pain ! Farewell to your
soul. For if there is life after this I hope to live with you
there.
A
saved quote from my journal
''Later
that night
I
held an atlas in my lap
ran
my fingers across the whole world
and
whispered
where
does it hurt?
it
answered
Everywhere
Everywhere
Everywhere.''
Warsan Shire.
For
they might make it hopeless now but just hold on since a day shall soon dawn
where you can no longer be scared of the rising sun.
